Choir Practice: Tuesday evenings. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME
The “Parish Eucharist” is celebrated in church every Sunday at 9am. The
service is formal (but, we hope, not stuffy). We are currently
experimenting with the layout of the seats and the altar in church, and at
the moment the building is laid out so that the whole congregation sits in
a large circle around the altar. Hymns are sung (accompanied by
pre-recorded music and led by a small but willing choir). There is a
sermon, and lay people do readings and lead the intercessions. The service
lasts about an hour, and is followed by refreshments.
On Wednesdays there is a said Eucharist in church at 10.30am. There is a short homily/reflection after the Gospel reading. After the Eucharist we gather at the back of church for coffee and cake.
